I have decided l will go back to work tomorrow...I visited the Doc who decided l am suffering from anxiety attacks (but l knew that) and l am also menopausal... (ummmmm dont think so). :-/

He gave me a prescription for some HRT patches... reading the enclosed leaflet out loud, if l apply them l could suffer with side effects! ( i wont bother putting down here what they are. I have a months supply so l will perservere and stick one on my thigh... The leaflet states they have to be put on below the waist. 8|

After l picked up my prescription l went into Holland & Barratt and brought a large bottle of evening primrose oil tablets. That should do the trick. :p

humph, feel exactly the same, could have written your previous post myself, it's horrible isn't it? my doc thinks i am begining the menopause, had a blood test but have to go back for another, i already take huge amounts of evening primrose for my skin, can't say it has affected my mood or anything, so last night i splashed out on some gingseng. lets hope we both start to feel better soon. certainly don't think i could cope with a proper job. it's as much as i can do to help my hubby out!!

Hello Jools... Thank you for your comment... Its nice to know l am not alone... its a bummer isnt it? I have to work as l am the only bread winner at the moment... (Hint hint daughter who is still living at home lol) Patches havent kicked in yet... Hope you blood tests come back ok... Might go out and get some of that gingseng. Will look it up on the net see what the benefits are :)

well, hope you got on ok at work, my bloods showed low oestrogen, going back for another test. had to give up on the gingseng when i started cambridge, still feeling tired out, hope you feel a bit better. take care.

Well, good luck with that bitch.
Been there, done that.
My hot flushes started at 47.
I then went into a real clinical depression. It's was hormone, I suppose. I'd never been depressed before or since. It was really bad, I was off work, everything.
I took HRT for two years and thought it was great. I think it helped me through the worse of the 'change'. Along with anti-depressants and counselling.
But I'm trying to cheer you up. And you do get through it. Honestly. You come out the other side.

'That Bitch'.. Are you reading between the lines and talking about my boss or are you calling the Menopause a bitch? Either way they are well suited...Both a thorn in my side... Sounds as if you had a bad time... Its a horrible feeling isnt it when you know its out of charactor... Nice to know their are people who understand, but as usual its only those that have been through a or that situation that really know how you feel.
