Is'nt it funny how you go all gibbery gooch when there is a baby in the house?

My Eldest daughter (single, no children, lives on her own) telphoned me this morning to ask if l was going out today? I said l was later on this afternoon... She said can l come over and you? Sure l said you dont have to ask! She then told me she was baby sitting for the day for a friend, A seven month old baby girl. Oh because of this she is unable to do her washing so can she bring that over as well...

Isnt it funny how when a baby is present you all forget to talk properly... You make funny noises... screw your face up... shake your head a lot and make up a completely different language. :.

She has been as good as gold up to now... had her nappy changed (took 2 of us) after we worked out which way round it went! trying to stop her rolling over and crawling around the floor... Then it was feeding time, Yes l know it usually the other way around but the nappy was poohy... She ate it all up... and then started crying cos there wasnt any more... so we put some music on and started singing and rocking her to sleep as she hadnt had a nap at all today.... No that didnt work... ummmm 'Mum do you want anything over the shop?' Good idea... take her around the shops and she might fall asleep...:zz: Bliss... Quick clear up... quick snack before she wakes up... l really have forgotten how exhausting having a baby in the house is... but l loved every minute of it.:DD
